Central Otago Vineyard Elopement Packages

Central Otago vineyards are magic places!  Rolling hills covered in vines, with views of lakes or mountains (or often both).

These two vineyard packages give you two different experiences at two different price points.  They’re both exclusive use… it’s about deciding which fits you best!

Domaine Thomson Vineyard Elopement Package

Just out of Cromwell, Domaine Thomson is a little bit of France in Central Otago.

Their French country style garden includes a permanent arch framing the vine covered hills rolling down to Lake Dunstan and the hills beyond.

A package at Domaine Thomson includes a 2 hour window where the vineyard is exclusively yours.  This can be either 10am - 12 noon or the popular 4 - 6pm slot.

You can have your ceremony in the beautiful garden (or the spectacular cellar door in case of bad weather).  Take time after the ceremony to toast each other with Domaine Thomson’s fabulous Cremant (a bubbly wine from their French vineyard), and take photos with your photographer throughout the vineyard.

Your package also means you’ll get to take away the remains of a mixed case of Domaine Thomson wines to enjoy later (assuming you wish to toast with Cremant on site)

To give you an idea of price, including:

• Celebrant

• 2 hours on site at Domaine Thomson

• 2 hours with a professional photographer

• Bouquet & buttonhole

• Hair & Makeup x 1 (at your accommodation around Cromwell)

Is $6,300.  

But this can altered to suit what’s important to you

• don’t need hair & makeup, we’ll take it out

• Want to add archway florals, can do

• Want to add in a private chef created platter delivered to your accommodation afterwards, no problem!

• Or an elopement cake, a live musician, a massage booking to truly relax… you get it, the sky is the limit!!

The other option is stunning Bannock Brae in peaceful Bannockburn.

Where Domaine Thomson gave you 2 hours exclusive use of the vineyard, Bannockbrae includes 2 nights accommodation in their on site cottage.

You have the option of walking up (or being driven up by the owner in his classic Land Rover) to a secluded ceremony spot overlooking a pond with views over the vineyard towards the mountains.  Or stepping out the front of your cottage for a ceremony on the lawn overlooking the vines.

Included is 2 hours with a professional photographer, with access to the whole vineyard for photos (but picturesque Bannockburn Sluicings and Bannockburn Inlet are just a few minutes drive down the road if you prefer.)  And a bottle of local bubbly to toast your marriage with.

Your accommodation offers a relaxing spot to get your hair & makeup done, your hosts providing a delicious breakfast.  And for foodie guests you’re in the perfect spot to add in a private chef experience - a bespoke multi course meal cooked by a local chef, in the privacy of your accommodation.

Is $7,310

But again this can be altered!

• Want to add some ceremony location florals?  On it.

• Don’t need hair & makeup?  It’s gone.

• Want to add in that bespoke private chef experience? No problem.

• An elopement cake, a live musician, a massage booking to truly relax… you get it, the sky is the limit!!
