I say this a lot, because it’s true. My favourite weddings are those where I can see a couple have planned their wedding their way. There’s no shoulds. No discomfort because they’re doing something not authentically them.
Caitlin and Camden chose to plan their wedding themselves, but if you'd like to pass the reins to me and relax with a bespoke Cromwell tiny wedding like Caitlin and Camden's, I am in!

Caitlin and Camden were spectacularly, wonderfully authentically them on their wedding day!
For the day of I dos they wanted to keep it tight, just their families and no more than a handful of friends.
They booked a fabulous holiday house overlooking the lake in Cromwell.
When I arrived the atmosphere was relaxed and fun. Caitlin was taking her time doing her own makeup, watching a bit of Grey’s Anatomy with her girls.
There was evidence of that morning’s card game.
Dora the very important fur person was enjoying pats and attention from everyone.

Caitlin and Camden had put effort into a few special touches - personal perfume and cologne, the cutest sweetheart sunglasses (which Caitlin made more fabulous with a little DIY), a delicious cake, champagne tower as well as handwritten vow books and rose petal confetti.
They made sure they surrounded themselves with vendors who would work with their style - that’s cue me and Brogan - Kiwi Captures Photography.
After a bespoke ceremony full of laughs - they chose their witnesses from a fishbowl, pausing to allow anyone who wished to offer a bribe to get to be a witness the opportunity to put their money where their mouth was.
And tossed a coin to decide who would say their vows first (but to find the coin needed to guess who had it based on a clue I gave them).
Brogan took them out to Bannockburn and down by the lake in Old Cromwell, for the most amazing rainy day photo shoot (yes it does occasionally rain in Central Otago).
Before coming back to share a private chef cooked dinner with their guests.

Remember how I said they wanted to keep it tight on the I do day? Well not too long after their wedding day they celebrated at home in fabulous style with an evening celebration of their wedding with family and so many friends at Invercargill’s magnificent Church 1914

I’d love to be a part of your wedding your way, whatever that looks like!
