I've recently started offering a Central Otago Wedding Planning Kick-Starter. What is it?
Well, this service is for those of you who are keen to plan your own Central Otago wedding, but need a little help getting started.

You’re probably coming up against a couple of problems:
You haven’t planned a Central Otago wedding before and where to start is all a little bit overwhelming. What's actually on offer? And how do we know what's good without having experienced it?
Google is keen to send you to Queenstown and Wanaka, and what you’re wanting is to know about the REAL Central Otago. What’s on offer in Alexandra, Cromwell, Clyde, over into the glorious Maniototo.
Before we meet I’d love to know a few things, so I can make this kick-starter as useful to you as possible. I'll send you a wee form to fill in once you've booked the kick-starter but before we meet. Basically I'll be asking you:
How many (ish) people are you wanting to celebrate with?
How are you wanting to celebrate? Are you wanting the all inclusive in one place option, or are you happy to consider other options? Do you need a place that has space for a dance floor, or you’d prefer a lunch or a dinner and that’s it?
Do you have an idea of your budget? (It’s okay if the answer is no)
Do you want the space to include accommodation?

When we chat we talk through my local recommendations for everything you’re interested in:
Venues & locations
Photographers
Caterers
Hair & Makeup artists
Florals
Local accommodation
What I do as a celebrant and Day-of Co-ordinator.

Because google is great (I think I’ve used it to convert from American measurements to metric about 8 billion times), but it doesn’t know everything
I know some great vendors who you won’t find on google no matter how hard you search.
I know which photographers are great with kids, which are willing to hike up a hill for a sunrise shoot, and only recommend those who both do great work AND are lovely to be around on the day.
I know about great locations hiding in plain sight down back roads.
I know who is happy to travel to your out of the way location in Central or Maniototo
I know fabulous caterers and restaurants
I even know an amazing travelling cocktail caravan

Essentially what a Kick Starter is, is a way to save you a LOT of time.
I don’t get kickbacks from any of these folk. I’m just passionate about supporting people doing fabulous things in my neighbourhood.
I don’t only offer up the high end options, that’s why we talk about your budget beforehand, so I can recommend the best vendors who will fit your budget.
Is there a charge for a Central Otago Wedding Planning Kick Starter?
Yes there is. If you book for just a Kick Starter, the charge is $500.
If however you then book me as your celebrant or celebrant/ day-of co-ordinator, I'll discount $200 off your final bill.
